Achieving and maintaining good business performance is a core concern of every business entity. This quantitative study investigates the impact of sourcing strategies and logistics capabilities on the performance of Jordanian pharmaceutical enterprises using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The views and perceptions of 951 managers and assistant manager respondents working in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies were gathered anonymously via an electronic online questionnaire using a convenience sampling technique. The findings revealed that sourcing strategies and logistical capabilities have a significant positive impact on organizational performance in pharmaceutical companies. Insourcing, near-sourcing, few / many suppliers, joint ventures, and virtual enterprises were perceived to be effective sourcing strategies in improving organizational performance. In contrast, outsourcing, and vertical integration were perceived to have a negligible impact on the performance in the context of pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, the findings confirmed that individual logistic capabilities (safety and compliance, storage, delivery, and imports and exports) of pharmaceutical firms were perceived as impacting positively on firm performance. This research provides useful insight for decision makers in pharmaceutical companies in Jordan when reviewing their supply chain, particularly during challenging and turbulent times such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

The study's goal is to see how electronic customer relationship management affects the quality of service at private hospitals in Jordan. The dimensions of customer relationship management (CRM) represented by website design, website search, privacy, security, and service delivery on time, while the dimensions of quality of service include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. It focused on private hospitals in Jordan. Data were primarily gathered through self-reported questionnaires created by Google Forms distributed to a purposive sample of inpatients via email. The statistical program AMOSv24 was used to test the study hypotheses. The results demonstrated that electronic customer relationship management had a positive impact on service quality. Considering the results, the researchers recommend improving the degree of its practice of managing electronic customer relations by reconsidering its websites in terms of focusing on the website design and its ease of use by patients and the possibility of searching the website.

In the technological and digital revolution, the world is witnessing unprecedented environmental uncertainty as big data becomes more complex in the labor market. Hence, the study examined the relationship between business analytics, big data, and decision-making insights. The study design used a quantitative approach through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 412 management levels from international organizations located in King Hussein Business Park in Jordan, named CISCO, Microsoft, Oracle, MBC, Samsung, Migrate, Aramex, Experia, and Ericsson. The data were managed through PROCESS Micro v3.5 software via SPSS packages to investigate the total effects of the study variables. The results confirmed the positive relationship between business analytics, big data, and decision-making insights at a statistically significant level (p < 0.01). The study presented a theoretical development of the role of management in achieving mature visions based on big data that constitute solutions to the complex interactions between technology and human orientation, facilitating the organizational complexities supported by the digital age and transforming them in favor of business decisions in the organizational environment of business companies.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the extent of adaptation of information technology in the process of knowledge conversion at the King Abdullah University Hospital. The study develops a model that explores the information technology (IT) adaption with knowledge con-version process (SECI). A questionnaire-based survey is designed to test the aforementioned model based on dataset of 265 doctors at King Abdullah University Hospital. The model and posited hypotheses are tested using SPSS. The results indicate that information technology influences significantly on all knowledge conversion processes. Managements of different organizations are recommended to start planning for the career of their companies by considering successful employees’ plans that enhances performance. Organizations managements and researchers in the Arab region and the world are recommended to increase research in career path planning. The use of information technology in health institutions, has great importance for the assessment of the information, because of the sensitivity of work in these institutions, which also reflected positively in increasing the knowledge in these institutions to enhance thinking and innovation skills. The results of the current study might help the hospital identify the technologies that aid doctors in the processes of knowledge conversion.

The aim of this study was to study the relationship between knowledge management in its operations; including knowledge generation, knowledge sharing, knowledge usage and business intelligence; including OLAP, data mining on the performance of organizations in the branches of the Housing Bank in Irbid, Jordan. A total of 126 questionnaires were distributed to the sample of the study. A multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The study concludes that there was a positive relationship between the knowledge management processes and the performance of organizations. Moreover, the components of business intelligence had positive impacts on the performance of organizations. The results have some enormous implications for the banking sector of Jordan.

Time management is very important for human being and organizations and it is a precious asset for achieving desire performance and accomplish duties. Fresh water is also another important valuable resource on the earth. Water provides many benefits for organizations, nature, human and plays an important role for development of economies. The aim of this study is to identify the effects of time management strategies on employee performance in Yarmouk Water Company in Jordan. In this study, time management strategies consists of five factors; namely fulfillment obligations strategy, time organizing strategy, utilization of resources, time planning strategy and priorities status strate-gy. The study population consists of 66 directors and heads of departments working for Yarmouk Water Company in Jordan. The study sends a designed questionnaire in Likert scale to all the popu-lation, manages to receive 62 and by excluding incomplete questionnaires 57 questionnaires are ana-lyzed representing approximately 86% of the survey. Using some statistical tests, the study indicates that all five factors; namely fulfillment obligations strategy, time planning strategy, utilization of the resources, time organizing strategy and priorities status strategy of resources positively influence on employee performance. There is also a positive altitude from study sample towards time management strategies. As recommendation, the employees must distinguish between important and unimportant tasks, the employees should determine the goals before starting the work, the managers must delegate some tasks to subordinates, and the employees pay attention to complete their work on time, The researcher recommends conducting further studies about the impact of time management strategy on employees’ performance efficiency from the view of customers perspective.

The study aimed at determining the extent to which Jordanian medical devices adopted the supply chain practices and to investigate the impact of those practices on organizational performance of the Jordanian medical devices’ firms. A cross-sectional approach was used to meet the purpose. A robust questionnaire was designed and used to collect primary data from the study sample. 200 questionnaires were completed and returned by the participants. SPSS version 21 and SEM were employed, with the use of (AMOS:21) to analyze and explain the collected data and to validate the research framework. The results demonstrated that medical devices firms in Jordan have adopted the supply chain practices and revealed a significant impact of those practices on the performance of the medical devices in Jordanian context.

Nowadays, smartphones are the leading dominant mobile communication devices, attributed to their multifunctional facilities and the mounting benefits provided by online platforms. From a business perspective, smartphones can be a practical substitute for conducting many business transactions online. Companies have transferred their traditional business models to e-business models employing new technologies. This paper aims to examine the entrepreneurs’ intentions to use smartphone applications in conducting business transactions as well as explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the Jordanian market. The study will use the quantitative method to examine the factors affecting Jordanian entrepreneurs’ intention to use Smartphone applications. A questionnaire was used to collect the required data from the study population. The respondents were selected using a random sampling method to obtain the needed data from entrepreneurs in Amman, Jordan. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed, and 440 valid questionnaires were returned and included in the analysis. The revealed results show that ease of use, perceived security, and trust significantly influence entrepreneurs’ intentions to use Smartphone applications, while responsiveness shows no significant influence. The current study provides valuable information on the factors that nurture entrepreneurs' intentions to adopt smartphone applications in Jordan. Finally, the smartphone possesses high potential support for entrepreneurs in the business world. Entrepreneurs are advised to integrate smartphones more into business transactions to increase work efficiency benchmarks and boost their businesses.

The goal of the study was to determine the influence of green supply chain management strategies on performance in Jordanian industrial enterprises using just in time. All of Jordan's manufacturing enterprises were included in the analysis. A total of 218 companies were selected from the manufacturing industry. The study hypotheses were tested using Path Analysis. The results showed that green supply chain practices had a significant indirect effect on performance through JIT. Based on the study findings, the researchers recommend individuals and decision-makers to improve the expected results of green supply chain practices in the performance of economic and social business through just in time production and increasing the interest in logistics services as one of managing green supply chains practices in these companies.

Green management is fundamentally referred to the environmental practices and the implementation of the appropriate eco-friendly activities, which improve the level of people’s awareness about the environmental protection. Such green management practices have been investigated namely, redesigning of operation and production processes, innovation and R&D functions, use of technology to save energy and reduce waste, environmental awareness of stakeholders through seminars and training, investment in equipment and technology, and improvement in products or services towards improving firm efficiency in Oil and Gas industry in Jordan. The design of this study has a quantitative approach. Three hypotheses have been developed through literature review and tested using descriptive statistical analysis performed by SPSS. The number of population was 250 employees from different departments that include HR, environment, operation, maintenance, and marketing, a total of 208 completed questionnaires were analyzed as a final sample. The results show a moderate implementation of Green management practices, redesigning of operation and production processes indicated the strongest influence, while innovation and R&D functions indicated the weakest influence. Statistical positive association also was indicated between green management practices and firm efficiency. This study contributes to support the literature of Green management and environment protection that is little in developing countries like Jordan. And it urges firm management to develop effective green innovation culture to improve the implementation level of Green management which may in turn create a high level of environmental efficiency outcome in the medium and long run. Also, it’s very significant for firm management to invest more money in green innovation and R&D functions in order to improve the level of efficiency/ performance.
