This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on job satisfaction, career development on job satisfaction, and the effect of compensation and career development together on lecturer job satisfaction at private universities. This research uses quantitative methods with a total sample of 98 people spread across private universities in Serang City with B and C accreditation. The analytical tool used in this study uses multiple regression with the SPSS version 24 tool. The results of this study are compensation influences on lecturer job satisfaction, career development influences on lecturer job satisfaction, and compensation and career development together influence lecturer job satisfaction.

This study aims to propose and apply a systematic and descriptive presentation of the costs of administrative coordination and organizational costs for a third-party company in the manufacturing enterprises of individual business functions. As for the procedures, it is a bibliographic research, based on Design Science Research, which proposes a new artifact based on the review of the literature and which starts to be applied based on the Iraqi Financial Control Council and Financial rules followed to achieve financial discipline. Special methods in which it was chosen to apply techniques such as observation, it is a practical means of cognition determining costs revenue that help to understand and identify the problems of the implementation of the main functions of financial, accounting and administrative performance. The research proposes the classify costs according to the types of industrial objects, contracts, and agreements based on the requirements of standard No. 1 “Measurement of performance results under employment contracts.

Based on the financial statements of real estate companies listed on Vietnamese stock market, the study has been conducted on factors affecting capital structure. The paper uses GLS (generalized least squared) estimation method related to panel data as well as testing to select the most appropriate model. Research results show that profitable real estate businesses, the ratio of fixed assets to total assets and the number of years of operation have a negative effect on capital structure. In contrast, renewable energy, size and growth are three factors that have positive effects on capital structure. In addition, the corporate income tax rate does not affect the capital structure decisions of real estate businesses. Through research, recommendations for the real estate business executives have been proposed to build an effective capital structure.

The aim of this study is focused on how monetary, energy consumption and other factors affect economic growth of the country of Vietnam. Based on collected secondary data covering from the World Bank and Vietnam’s General Statistics Office from 1985 to 2019, and some data collected from the State Bank of Vietnam, Vector Autoregressive Model was considered to apply in order to investigate this relationship. Results show that there exists an association among monetary policy, renewable energy and the country’s economic growth. Especially, the country’s exchange rate shows no influence on its economic growth while interest rate has negative effects and particularly money supply and renewable energy have a positive influence on the same direction and has a strong impact on economic growth.

This research aimed to examine the association between board of directors’ characteristics as a composite measure, the performance of companies in Jordan and the influence of family ownership on this association. Using data on industrial companies indexed on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) from 2013 to 2017, a positive association between board characteristics and company performance was found, indicating that higher board effectiveness is associated with more effective monitoring of management behavior. In addition, the association between board characteristics and company performance was strong when there was an interaction with family ownership, as companies with boards with family members achieve higher performance than companies with boards run by external directors. The study findings could be useful to all regulators seeking to improve the quality of monitoring mechanism practices, especially in emerging economies.

The aim of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between the number of commissioners on the committee, ownership concentration, the Risk Management Committee, business size, and leverage on enterprise risk management. Take, for example, insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Purposeful sampling was used in the sampling process. Supplementary data was obtained from the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Panel data regression analysis was used as the research method. Although business size had an effect on enterprise risk management transparency, board size, stake concentration, the risk management committee, and leverage had little effect. By integrating the variables Board of Commissioners Size and Ownership Concentration, as well as employing dynamic equation modeling to examine the above relationships, which have been overlooked in previous analyses, and analyzing more recent evidence from a developed world perspective, this study contributes to the management accounting literature and organization theory. The findings would be useful to Indonesian practitioners, especially those in management positions in insurance companies and financial institutions.

The main purpose of the study is to investigate whether the cash conversion cycle has an impact on the financial performance of listed chemical firms in Amman Stock Exchange. To achieve the objectives of the study, data covering the period 2010-2019 of 5 among a total of 6 listed chemical firms were collected and used in analysis and hypotheses testing. The excluded firm was eliminated because its information was incomplete along the study period. Return on equity and earnings per share were used as indicators for financial performance in a separate form. The study involved two hypotheses, and both hypotheses were tested under the 95 percent level of confidence. Descriptive statistics including the mean and variance, in addition to correlation, were used in data analysis. Using both of the multiple and single regression models, the study showed that the cash conversion cycle had a significant impact on the financial performance of firms. Moreover, both of the controls were found significantly affecting the financial performance.

This study aimed to analyze the impact of government ownership on Indonesia’s SOE’s financial performance, measured by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) of 20 SOEs that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2013 – 2019, using the panel data models. According to the results, government ownership has a positively significant impact on the firm performance (ROA and ROE). Furthermore, the results show that along with government shares, debt to equity ratio, dividend payout ratio, and log of total assets also have significant relationships to the firm performance.

This study aims to identify the determinants of the expectation gap in fraud detection between internal auditors and bankers in Indonesia. The shift in the internal audit task in the banking sector can cause the hole in audit expectations to widen. This research uses qualitative methods with an interpretive paradigm which is rarely done by previous research. The results of interviews with internal audit work units and bank managers from 4 state-owned and private banks indicate a gap in audit expectations regarding the responsibilities between internal auditors and bankers, especially in carrying out the function of examining and detecting fraud. This study recommends the financial services authorities and bank leaders be able to improve education regarding anti-fraud policies to stakeholders, especially in terms of a clear division of tasks in fraud detection in the banking sector.

The study examines the effect of leverage and capital on the profitability of selected Saudi Arabian Banks during the period 2014 and 2019. The banks have been selected based upon their size in terms of total assets. The profitability elements, such as Earnings per Share (EPS), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) are the dependent variables; Total Debt Ratio (TDR), Tier 1 Capital Ratio (Tier 1 CAP), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DE) are the independent variables, and firm size is the control variable. The study estimates a pooled regression analysis to analyze the effect of these variables. The results of the study show that there is a positive relationship between the different profitability variables and Debt to Equity Ratio. The Total Debt Ratio is having positive association with ROA and ROE, and has an insignificant negative relationship with the EPS, and the Tier 1 capital ratio is having positive association with ROA and ROE, and has an insignificant relationship with the EPS.
