The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between supplier performance and supply chain performance, transformational supply chain leadership and supply chain performance, and between supplier performance and transformational supply chain leadership. The study uses a company analysis unit represented by one of the managers in the chain management section. The study also uses quantitative methods and data processing tools using SmartPLS 3.3.3. The population in this study is a manufacturing company in Tangerang. Two hundred and fifty online questionnaires were distributed to each company and 220 eligible respondents were tested. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that there is a positive and significant relationship between supplier performance and supply chain performance, a positive and significant relationship exists between transformational supply chain leadership and supply chain performance and there is a positive and significant relationship between supplier performance and transformational supply chain leadership.

The objective of this study is to examine the role of HRM and supply chain to promote business performance (BP) sustainability in Thai textile firms. Meditating role of employee skills and raw material is examined. Therefore, the relationship between HRM, supply chain, employee skills, raw material and BP sustainability was examined. Population of the study is textile firms of Thailand. Employees of these textile firms were selected as respondents. 300 questionnaires were distributed among the textile firms of Thailand. Results of the study shows the positive role of HRM in BP sustainability. Better practices of HRM have the ability to promote BP sustainability. HRM has a positive role in employee skills development which further enhances BP sustainability. Moreover, supply chains in textile firms also play a major role to promote BP sustainability. Better supply chain increases the availability of raw material which causes BP sustainability.

Food industry has vital importance globally in which supply chain sustainability plays a key role. Therefore, the objective of this study is to examine the role of passion, planning, goal setting and target achievement in a sustainable supply chain. This study examined the relationship between passion, planning, goal setting, target achievement and sustainable supply chain among the food industry of Indonesia. Questionnaire survey was preferred, and 500 questionnaires were used for data collection. Findings of the study concluded that passion has a positive role in target achievement and an insignificant effect on sustainable supply chain. Planning has a positive effect on target achievement and sustainable supply chain. Moreover, goal setting has a positive role in target achievement and no role in supply chain. Furthermore, target achievement has a significant mediating role. Finally, the relationship between passion, planning, goal setting, target achievement and sustainable supply chain has valuable contributions to the literature.

In Malaysia, manufacturing industry is a major contributor to the economic advancement. As a result, cutting-edge technology like the internet of things (IoT) is projected to have a significant impact on business operations and supply chain management (SCM). However, research into the influence of IoT deployment on supply chains and organizational performance is relatively sparse. Therefore, this study is to determine the relationship between benefits and challenges of IoT adoption and organizational performance. Furthermore, this study looks into the mediating role of supply chain performance in the relationship between IoT adoption benefits and challenges and organizational performance. The population of this study is comprised of 3019 manufacturing companies in Malaysia, while the minimum sample size needed is 43 manufacturing companies.1160 complete set of survey questionnaire were distributed through email and 63 responses received representing five per cent of response rate. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) is used to assess all of the study's hypotheses. The results of this paper support six out of the seven hypotheses tested. In conclusion, the manufacturing industry in Malaysia needs to be exposed more to the benefits of IoT rather than keep discussing its challenges. This study can be a guideline to the manufacturing companies in decision making for IoT adoption. The limitations and recommendation for future study is highlighted.

This study aims to examine the contribution of the application of total quality control in improving quality performance and its consequences for the creation of competitive advantage. The research method used is a verification survey method to describe the empirical conditions of the production process activities at SMEs producing cocoa in Central Sulawesi Province. The analytical tool used is path analysis with a two-stage regression approach to examine the structural relationship between variables. The results show that total quality control consisting of employee empowerment, employee training and teamwork culture had a significant effect on improving the quality performance of cocoa SMEs. The consequences of improving quality performance are proven to mediate employee empowerment, employee training, and a culture of teamwork in creating a competitive advantage for cocoa SMEs in Central Sulawesi Province.

Telecom supply chain (TSC) research has determined several risk sources can happen for sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) due to their ambiguous nature. However, investigation of these risks is relatively sparse and has primarily been independent with less combinatory research, despite their interrelationships and causality. The present study aims to address that gap by an extant literature review and analysis of relationships among risk factors using a combination of fuzzy approaches. A mixed approach was used, including empirical data from private and government firms in a developing telecom sector. This research finding confirmed that economical dimension risk is major for SSCM in the TSC. In developing countries, it could help telecom service providers in determining which risk factors are critical and those that are crucially significant. As a result, they will be able to more effectively develop strategies focussing on the most affecting risk dimension for SSCM. This is the first study using a hybrid fuzzy approach that analysed interrelationships of risk factors for SSCM. Further, it gives a comprehensive view of risk assessment in the risk management context in the supply chain.

The arrival of the era of robots and autonomous machines is undisputable. It is anticipated that the future business environment will be characterized by a variety of intelligent systems and autonomous robots. In 2017, the International Federation of Robotics reported that momentum gained by robotic technologies is strong and that the sales volumes of both service and industrial robots is expected to grow. Building on this projection, the present study proposes a set of prerequisites or key determinants for the adoption of autonomous robots in the supply chain and logistics industry: technological context (i.e., relative advantage, complexity, and cost), organizational context (i.e., management support, financial support and employee competence) and environmental context (i.e., competitive pressure, customer pressure and vendor support). The study adapts a quantitative research design and uses an online survey to collect the needed data to test the conceptual framework and hypotheses proposed. Part of the study results confirms the association between the cost of digital technologies and the adoption of autonomous robots. However, the study found no evidence that the perceived relative advantage positively impacts supply chain and logistics firms’ adoption of autonomous robots. The study offers some managerial advices to supply chain mangers and marketers of the digital technologies and tools that can be applied in the supply chain setting.

To increase competitive advantage, any company needs to improve its supply chain management. The aim of this study is to define the relationships between supply chain capability, supply chain performance and marketing performance. Some of the retail stores are no longer operating. Tool of analysis is the partial least square that is suitable for small sample size. The result of PLSSmart 3.0 shows that the relationship between supply chain capability and supply chain performance is positive and significant. However, the relationship between supply chain performance and marketing performance is positive but non-significant. Direct relationship between supply chain capability and marketing performance appears to be positive and significant. Indirect relationship between supply chain capability and marketing performance through supply chain performance also appears to be non-significant. The study can be a reference for retail managers to increase the supply chain in their marketing performance. Some further research needs to add other variables to see a more concrete relationship between supply chain capability and marketing performance.

This study analyzed the impact magnitudes and patterns of several intervention events, including eight earthquakes and Covid-19 pandemic, on the number of unloading and loading goods in the three main ports and airports in West Nusa Tenggara Province during 2015-2020. The multi-input intervention models are performed for twelve series data obtained from BPS-Statistics of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The results from the estimated response values show that generally the number of unloading and loading in the three main ports and airports have experienced mixed impact, i.e., negative, and positive impacts. As the main concern in this study, the negative impacts were more experienced by the number of unloading and loading goods in airports than in ports indicating that the supply chain in airports was more vulnerable to intervention. Lombok International Airport and Sultan M Kaharuddin Airport received the most negative impact during the period. Most intervention events have delayed impact patterns that are more experienced by the three airports than the three ports. Started in March 2020, Covid-19 produced the widest and biggest negative impacts. These impacts are even bigger than the impacts produced by the severe earthquakes that occurred in August 2018.

The relationship between agricultural extension and farmer productivity has been widely discussed; agricultural extension directly or indirectly affects farmer productivity. In this study, the researchers attempted to elaborate on this matter by looking at it from the rural wing based on the human resource and human capital theory. This study uses a quantitative explanatory approach. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a fundamental data analysis using AMOS software. The population in this study were all agricultural extensions in South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi. The sample was taken using the accidental sampling technique; it included only the completed questionnaire in the data analysis. Until the time limit, only 122 agricultural extension people filled out the questionnaire and were declared complete. Research shows that rural extension has a significant positive effect on soft-skill competence and not substantial on farmer productivity. Furthermore, soft-skill competence significantly affects farmer productivity and is a good mediator in increasing farmer productivity. The results show that it could improve farmers' productivity, not because of direct extension but because the farmers' soft competence increased due to interventions from the quality of agricultural extension workers. Therefore, good quality agricultural extension agents will encourage the rural farmers' ability to solve problems. Make systematic planning and communication skills that will help them build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, improve ethics, discipline, increase their skills and experience.
