The escalating demand for items and their consumption has exerted immense pressure on industrial production and supply chain systems, leading to adverse environmental and societal consequences. The rise in pollution rates and ecological disasters resulting from industrial production has prompted numerous scholars and industry specialists to focus on Sustainable Production and Consumption matters within the framework of Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM). The interest in sustainable supply chain management has significantly increased in recent years, spanning both business and academic sectors. This phenomenon is seen in the growing prevalence of papers, conferences, specialized periodicals, and websites exclusively focused on the subject matter. Nevertheless, the importance of sustainable development in developing economies has only just started to be acknowledged. This literature review aims to assess existing research on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) in developing nations while considering a worldwide perspective. This paper thoroughly examines the rapid expansion of the subject from an evolutionary perspective; aimed at comprehending the progression of sustainability concerns by examining patterns across different industries, and economies, and employing diverse approaches. An extensive thematic analysis was conducted on 56 selected publications published between 2010 and 2023, emphasizing the growth and significance of the knowledge base. The analysis is conducted utilizing a descriptive and content-oriented methodology. Subsequently, the results are presented, demonstrating an increasing interest in Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM). Nevertheless, there is a conspicuous discrepancy in the extent of research carried out on this subject in emerging economies as opposed to industrialized ones. The findings indicate that the context in less developed countries plays a crucial role in carrying out empirical or case study research. Moreover, it is crucial to analyze how the integration of the three dimensions of sustainability impacts the efficiency of the supply chain, especially when considering the perspective of an emerging economy. Hence, the limitations of this investigation are delineated. Ultimately, it is crucial to do further research from multiple angles within the supply chain, encompassing collaboration, sustainable practices, innovation, sourcing, and supplier growth, with a special emphasis on the position and background of rising countries.

The aim of this study is to assess and rank Anadolu Sigorta Company's sustainability performance between 2018 and 2022 using the hybrid SWARA-MEREC-COBRA model. The sustainability performance evaluation criteria's importance weights were determined using both subjective and objective methods. The SWARA algorithm was used to determine the weights subjectively based on expert opinion, while the MEREC algorithm was used to determine them objectively. The final importance weights were obtained by combining the results of both methods. When evaluating the sustainability performance of Anadolu Sigorta Company, the most important criterion was total paper consumption, while the criterion with the least impact was the number of female employees. The COBRA ranking algorithm was used to rank the alternatives, and it was determined that the company's best sustainability performance was in 2022, while the worst was in 2018. Different sensitivity analyses were used to test the consistency of the proposed model.

Despite the recognized importance of service quality in supply chain management, there has been limited research examining the interplay between digital leadership, service quality, and supply chain management. This study employs bibliometric analysis techniques to investigate how digital leadership influences service quality within the context of supply chain management. Utilizing VOSviewer v1.6.20, we analyzed 490 publications from the Web of Science database pertinent to this domain. Our findings reveal that advanced technologies, including digital leadership, IoT, AI, and blockchain, play a crucial role in modernizing supply chains, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving environmental objectives. The study discusses the broader implications for both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in the field.

Conveying the products to the customers under optimized circumstances is as crucial for the companies as the production itself. One optimization strategy to consider is transportation with the minimum quantity of vehicles and the selection of courses with the minimum distance between the locations. In other words, it is the examination of the solution to the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP), particularly the Capacitated VRP (CVRP), which is a more realistic modelization approach. For businesses that perform distribution to customers frequently, such as management work with the coordination of daily distribution, finishing the distribution on time is of great importance. In big cities with complicated roads and many dropping points, this can be achieved by benefiting from the systematic modeling of the CVRP. In this study, the delivery network investigation for one production facility of the Istanbul People's Bread positioned on the Asian side of Istanbul, Türkiye that distributes three times a day will be the focus of interest. The corresponding Asymmetric CVRP (ACVRP) for the facility network and 215 bread-selling buffets with authentic driving distances will be solved with the Genetic Algorithm (GA), and an optimized transportation network will be presented.

This research aims to investigate the upcoming challenges of green innovation and sustainability in the hospitality and tourism sectors of Saudi Arabia and the mediating role of National Vision 2030 in fostering industry growth. A quantitative design was used, and a close-ended questionnaire was used to collect data from 499 respondents in the hospitality and tourism sectors of Saudi Arabia. The analysis was performed using SmartPLS and structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate several upcoming challenges, such as renewable energy consumption, energy efficiency, and the changing preferences of consumers. However, these challenges can be dealt with adequate government policies and the mediating role of the Saudi Arabia 2030 vision to achieve sustainability in the hospitality and tourism sectors. These findings have theoretical and practical implications, which are discussed in the end. The scope of the findings is constrained to the geographic context of Saudi Arabia, inviting future investigations in a broader international context.

Materialism has emerged as a growing global drift in the past decade. This study highlights the influence of materialism on consumers' attitudes and actions regarding the purchase of environmentally sustainable products (ESPs) in a country such as Pakistan, which environmental orientations are in the developing stage. Materialistic perspectives can hinder the formation of positive attitudes towards environmentally sustainable products, especially when consumers engage in product comparisons. To evaluate the effects of materialism and product comparisons on purchasing intentions and behaviors, a survey was conducted among university students. The results revealed that consumers tend to avoid purchasing experience goods primarily because these items require a higher degree of involvement and risk assessment due to their intangible and experiential nature. This avoidance is particularly pronounced when the subjective norms and attitudes toward these goods are influenced by materialistic values, which often prioritize tangible, ownership-oriented products.

This study aimed to identify the impact of entrepreneurship on the sustainability of small enterprises and productivity financed by the ministry of social development of Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive analytical method was adopted, and a questionnaire was designed and distributed to members of the study sample consisting of owners of productive projects funded by the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan. The results show that Entrepreneurship has a significant impact on the sustainability of small enterprises and productivity financed by the ministry of social development of Jordan.

In Indonesia, the success of coal extraction largely depends on the role of mining contractors. One of these successes is determined by proper asset management amidst uncertainty in the coal business, such as sustainability and digitalization issues. However, research that identifies the role of asset management in improving the performance of mining projects is still rare. Therefore, this research investigates the impact of Information technology capability, sustainability practices, and asset management on improving the performance of coal mining contractor projects in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods, with questionnaire data filled in by 128 project managers of mining contractor projects spread across Indonesia and analyzed by applying structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that Information technology capability and sustainability practices have a substantial and beneficial effect on improving asset management, which then enhances the performance of mining contractors. Interestingly, there is no direct impact of Information technology capability and sustainability practices on the operational performance of mining projects, so asset management is highly needed. The originality of this study is in the recognition of asset management as a valuable asset for firms that have integrated Information technologies & sustainability practices, as it promotes improved operational performance of projects, and there is still rarely any previous research that examines sustainability practices and asset management, especially mining projects. This research contributes to developing the resource-based view (RBV) theory and also contributes managerially to the practices that mining contractors must carry out when dealing with uncertain business situations.

Despite the increasing importance of smart supply chain management in modern organizations, there is a paucity of research dedicated to this intersection. The primary objective is to identify trends, research gaps, and emerging themes in the literature concerning SSCM, technology applications, and innovation performance. Leveraging the Web of Science database, bibliometric analysis is employed to analyze existing literature, revealing insights into strategies for harnessing technology-driven innovations in SCM. By embracing sustainability principles, companies can position themselves as leaders in an increasingly interconnected and environmentally conscious world, generating long-term value for both them and society.

The increasing complexities posed by green organizational challenges and technological advancements require a thorough grasp of the vital capabilities needed to maintain the firm’s sustainable performance. This study aims to explore the associations of green technological innovation and management innovation to sustainable performance and estimate to what extent digital leadership moderates these associations. The resource-based view (RBV) and socio-technical system theory (STS) are leveraged to conceptualize the research model. By adopting a survey-based approach on data gathered from 419 manufacturing and service firms, the PLS-SEM is the statistical approach conducted to test the validity of predictions The outcomes demonstrated that green technological innovation, green management innovation, and digital leadership are positively linked to sustainable performance. Furthermore, higher digital leadership strengthens the linkage of green technology and management innovation to sustainable performance. The outcomes made a powerful contribution to the current literature on green innovations and digital transformation, and substantial recommendations were inferred for organizations aiming to achieve environmental, social, and economic performance.
