This study aims to find out how much the ways that blockchain technology helps in different parts of the supply chain affect how SMEs use blockchain technology. Moreover, the research examines the correlation between blockchain use and overall performance. The data was obtained from the SMEs' owners and managers, who have the authority to implement blockchain technology. Two follow-up phone calls yielded 145 usable replies from 500 prospective respondents, for a response rate of 29%, which was analysed employing structural equation modelling (SEM). The results demonstrated that the contributions of blockchain adoption to task technology fit, task characteristics, technology characteristics, operational supply chain transparency, and supply chain agility influenced the acceptance intentions of SME managers and that there is a significant positive correlation between blockchain adoption and overall performance. The results aid vendors and policymakers in formulating strategies and effective plans to accelerate blockchain adoption by SMEs. Furthermore, the findings provide owners/managers of SMEs with reason to believe that blockchain technology might be a source of competitive advantage.

The study examines the technological factors influencing the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. In addition, this study examines the mediating role of accounting automation on AI adoption in a small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) context. The owners and managers of SMEs were surveyed online using a convenience sampling technique. The proposed model was tested using SEM. The findings confirmed the relationships between the predictive variables and AI adoption. The results showed that accounting automation partially mediated the relationship between predictive variables and the adoption of AI. The results contribute to the TOE model by incorporating accounting automation into the TOE framework as a mediating variable. The study also contributed to the literature by including new variables in the model, such as saving time and efficiency-improving.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a central role in the Indonesian economy. SMEs are a driver of the Indonesian economy and non-oil exports and have a significant role in absorbing labor. The SME sector in Indonesia generally has several obstacles, one of which is marketing constraints. The ability to build and communicate brands to customers tends to be low, so it has not been able to bind customers and affect the marketing performance of SMEs. This ability during the pandemic has worsened, as can be seen from the deteriorating marketing performance of SMEs. This study attempts to fill the research gap between digital marketing and marketing performance. This study offers the concept of Brand Articulating Capability to bridge the gap between Digital Marketing in increasing Marketing Performance. Three hypotheses were developed and tested in a sample frame of 230 SMEs in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modelling to test the research. The study's findings support the model using the following variables: Digital Marketing has a significant effect on Marketing Performance, Digital Marketing has a significant impact on Brand Articulating Capability, and the Brand Articulating Capability variable has a mediating and strategic role in improving marketing performance.

The study challenges the previous literature and assumes the digital vision as a proxy of intention among Technological, Organizational, and Environmental (TOE) factors and investigates the influence of TOE factors on cloud accounting adoption among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Furthermore, the effect of cloud accounting adoption on the organization's performance as measured by the balanced scorecard was evaluated. The data collection strategy employed an online survey of owners and managers using snowball methodology, in which the survey was automatically introduced to the respondents most likely to find relevant. The data was validated prior to SEM analysis. Seven of eight hypotheses were accepted, including the two hypotheses about the impact of the digital vision on cloud accounting adoption and the hypothesis about the impact of cloud accounting adoption on balanced scorecard-measures organizational performance. Despite the importance of the statistically significant factors in the study model, the digital vision was the most affected by the organizational readiness factor. The findings contribute to the TOE model by challenging the previous literature and assumption of digital vision as a proxy of intention among TOE factors. Future studies should use the TOE framework more caution if the intention is assumed to be a mediating variable.

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are believed the most important components of today’s businesses and they can boost the growth of economy. This paper presents an empirical investigation to identify and rank important factors influencing on entrepreneurial marketing to facilitate exports of SMEs. The study designs a questionnaire in Likert scale and distributes it among 387 randomly selected entrepreneurs who act as managers of some SMEs in city of Tehran, Iran. Cronbach alpha is calculated as 0.873, which is well above the acceptable level. Using principle component analysis, the study has determined four factors including competitive intelligence, competitive advantage, external factors and internal factors to facilitate the export of SMEs.

Based on longitudinal data from biennial surveys of small- and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam conducted from 2007 to 2013, we find supports to the self-selection and learning-by-exporting hypotheses. We find that the SMEs having higher sunk costs and capital size are more likely to become exporters. Applying the propensity score matching method in combination with the Difference-in-Difference estimation, the study finds that export has raised SMEs’ productivity measured by either TFP or labor productivity, sales revenue, and value added of the SMEs. Furthermore, the gains from learning-by-exporting and specializing in core-competence products were stronger in the early years of entry into the export markets. These findings suggest policies to promote export of SMEs in an appropriate timing.

Technological changes accompanied by rapid market changes have made it increasingly difficult for SMEs to develop their business in the future. Today, many organizations are shifting to e-procurement as an integrated supply chain support function to achieve strategic business goals. E-procurement or electronic procurement and supply chain Innovation have allowed for more flexibility in responding to market changes and improving the performance of the company's supply chain. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of e-procurement and supply chain innovation on the supply chain performance of SMEs in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a quantitative survey method using structural equation modeling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) with data processing tools, namely SmartPLS 3.0 software. Respondents in this study were 390 employees of SMEs in Indonesia determined by the simple random sampling method. The research data was obtained through an online questionnaire distributed through social media. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of e-procurement has a significant effect on supply chain performance. Supply Chain Innovation has also a significant influence on SMEs supply chain performance.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social media marketing, product innovation, market orientation on marketing performance. The study uses quantitative methods and data analysis techniques are based on Structural Equation Modeling using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The sample selection method uses the snowball sampling method. Online questionnaires are sent to 320 SMEs in Banten Province, where 300 responses are used. The results of data analysis show that social media marketing has a significant effect on marketing performance, product innovation has a significant effect on marketing performance and market orientation has a significant effect on marketing performance.

This study aims to explain the role of relational capability and informational capability in mediating the effect of social media adoption on business performance. The population of this study is the owners of the fashion sector SMEs in Bali. The sample size used was 114 businesses with a purposive sampling approach. The analytical technique used is Path Analysis using the SEM-PLS approach. The results show that the adoption of social media has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Social media adoption has a positive and significant effect on relational capability and social media adoption also has a positive and significant effect on informational capability. Furthermore, relational capability has a positive and significant effect on business performance and informational capability has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Relational capability and informational capability can significantly mediate the effect of social media adoption on business performance. Therefore, it is important for SME owners in the fashion sector in Bali to intensify the adoption of social media to build relational and informational capabilities in order to increase business performance.

Corporate foresight is a capability that includes any structural or cultural element that enables the company to detect discontinuous change early. The purpose of the present study is to examine the direct impact of corporate foresight, and organizational learning on the performance dynamic of SMEs working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In addition, the study tries to analyze the moderating as well as mediating effect of digital transformation and innovativeness on the relationship between exogenous and endogenous constructs. A sample of 576 questionnaires were distributed among the owners/managers of different SMEs working in the region of UAE. However, a final sample of 354 respondents was empirically tested. The data was analyzed through a two-step approach where structural equation modelling (SEM) under SmartPLS was found to be very helpful to examine the direct and indirect relationship between the study variables. The study findings show that there is an insignificant but positive impact of corporate foresight on organizational performance whereas significant impact of organizational learning on organizational performance. Furthermore, the study found evidence for the moderating effect of digital transformation between organizational learning and innovation. Additionally, it is observed that innovativeness mediates the relationship between corporate foresight and performance dynamics. The study findings suggest that for exploring the relationship between corporate foresight, digital transformation, and organization the role of innovation and digital transformation is quite significant. The study findings suggest that both owners and managers at SMEs of UAE should attach more importance to innovative capabilities and digital transformation for achieving higher levels of organizational performance. Policy makers should reasonably consider the direct and indirect effect of study variables while considering high performance at the workplace.
