Laser direct structuring (LDS) is very important step in the MID process and it is a complex process due to different parameters, which influence on this process and its final product. Therefore, it is very important to use a reliable model to predict, analyze and control the performance of the (LDS) process and the quality of the final product. In this work we develop mathematical models by using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) to study this process. The proposed models are used to study the effect of the LDS parameters on the groove dimensions (width and depth), lap dimensions (groove lap width and height) and finally the heat effective zone (interaction width), which are important to determine the line width/space in the MID products and the metallization profile after the metallization step. We also study the relationship between the LDS parameters and the surface roughness which is very important factor for the adhesion strength of MID structures. Moreover these models capable of finding a set of optimum LDS parameters that provide the required micro-channel dimensions with the best or the suitable surface roughness. A set of experimental tests are carried out to validate the developed ANN and the RSM models. It has been found that the predicted values for the proposal ANN and RSM models were closer to the experimental values, and the overall average absolute percentage errors were 4.02 % and 6.52%, respectively. Finally, it has been found that, the developed ANN model could be used to predict the response of the LDS process more accurately than RSM model.

In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop a mathematical model in order to study the relationship between laser cutting parameters such as laser power, cutting speed, assist gas pressure and focus position, and kerf taper angle obtained in CO2 laser cutting of AISI 304 stainless steel. To this aim, a single hidden layer artificial neural network (ANN) trained with gradient descent with momentum algorithm was used. To obtain an experimental database for the ANN training, laser cutting experiment was planned as per Taguchi’s L27 orthogonal array with three levels for each of the cutting parameters. Statistically assessed as adequate, ANN model was then used to investigate the effect of the laser cutting parameters on the kerf taper angle by generating 2D and 3D plots. It was observed that the kerf taper angle was highly sensitive to the selected laser cutting parameters, as well as their interactions. In addition to modeling, by applying the Monte Carlo method on the developed kerf taper angle ANN model, the near optimal laser cutting parameter settings, which minimize kerf taper angle, were determined.

The global process of society information has covered almost all countries of the world and is currently the core of scientific, technical and socio-economic development. The effectiveness of the power exercise in any state depends on its information support. Indeed, without information, successful political structure, the development of mass political consciousness as well as the interaction of the subject and the object of government are impossible. That is why this research aims to improve the methodics of evaluation of informational security through theoretical-methodological substantiation, forming and calculation of integral indexes of its competitiveness of a country. Global economic crisis had consequences for almost every country and cannot be ignored by any conditions, that is why the methodic of informational security calculations should be adapted to modern economic conditions. Cardinal changes in political, economic and social conditions in Ukraine causes inaccessibility of approaches to information security level calculations and particularly in the national security system. In modern scientific schools the questions of effective informational security have not been sufficiently studied. The aim of this article is to analyze active methods of state informational safety level calculations in order to adapt their indexes to actual global circumstances in Ukraine and in the world. Integral informational security have been composed of such components (indicators): income of the broadband Internet access market, dynamics of broadband Internet subscribers (connections), penetration rate of fixed broadband access (number of subscribers per 100 people), dynamics of Internet penetration (percentage of Internet users to the total population of the country), Network Readiness Index of the country, ICT Development Index of the state, Global Innovation Index, capital investments in intangible assets of Ukraine (that is, in software and databases). Every component of informational safety has factors of relevance and indispensability of reinforcement of national competitiveness on security foundations are substantiated. A taxonomic indicator is used to measure the level of informational safety. The paper proves that each of the components of the state informational security has almost equal input in forming its integral index.

The present paper aims to analyze, model and optimize regional development of rural and urban areas of Sistan & Balochestan, separately. The relationship between employment changes and growth rate of economic sections has been modeled and numbers of jobs required for providing optimum growth rate have been obtained. This paper indicates that considering the average census of five decades (1956-2006) the situation of labor market and growth rate of economic sections in urban areas are bad and worse in rural areas so that there is need to increase employment considerably in order to achieve minimum economic growth rate ( 1% growth).

The NanoMQL technique is used to overcome the limitations of wet grinding due to economic and ecological problems. The performance measure is largely influenced by the process parameters such as table speed, depth of cut, air pressure, coolant flow rate and nanofluid concentration. In this paper, the performance of NanoMQL technique in terms of surface roughness was evaluated for hard and soft EN31 steel. The Experiments were conducted by response surface methodology (RSM) using statistical software to develop regression model of surface roughness and optimization was carried out using Jaya algorithm. The result shows that lowest value of surface roughness was obtained for NanoMQL of hard steel in comparison with soft steel under grinding environ-ments such as wet, MQL and NanoMQL. Hence to improve the performance of soft steel, the modeling and optimization of surface roughness were carried out. The significant parameters were considered for model development and validity of model determined through ANOVA (Analysis of variance). Lastly, the optimal values were determined using Jaya algorithm for minimum surface roughness and the percentage error observed to be close with the experimental test.
