This quantitative study investigates the relationships between Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Intelligence (BI), and Strategic Planning (SP) within Jordanian Public Listed Companies, with a focus on the mediating role of BI. The target population comprises employees from the 108 public shareholding companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, totaling an estimated 1,080 senior managers involved in strategic planning. A random sample of 285 employees was surveyed to achieve a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with multi-item scales adapted from prior studies. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test the conceptual framework and hypothesized relationships, utilizing the two-step SEM approach with AMOS software. The results reveal significant positive relationships among MIS, BI, and SP. Specifically, MIS exhibits a statistically significant positive effect on SP, supporting previous research indicating MIS provides comprehensive data for informed planning. Furthermore, MIS significantly influences BI capabilities, underscoring the importance of robust MIS infrastructure for advanced BI analytics. BI, in turn, positively impacts SP, aligning with literature suggesting BI tools enhance planning agility and effectiveness through data-driven insights. Bootstrapping analysis demonstrates that BI partially mediates the relationship between MIS and SP. While BI acted as a significant mediating variable, MIS had a significant direct impact on SP, implying that though MIS has a direct impact on SP, it has an indirect impact, through BI, as well. Further analysis revealed that the constructs are interconnected, and that the mediation of BI is a necessary part of the process in Jordanian Public Listed Companies. As such, acknowledging the relevance of MIS, BI, and SP and the mediating role of BI, organizations can adapt their decision-making to achieve sustained competitive advantage within the dynamic business environment in Jordan.

The goal of this study was to find out how business intelligence systems, AI, and digital leadership affect how satisfied employees are with their jobs and how much value they add to companies in the Greater Amman Municipality. After the study samples were taken and looked at, a total of 246 samples were approved to be used in the PLS software-based analysis. The results of this study showed that putting in place business intelligence tools, artificial intelligence, and digital leadership all made employees happier with their jobs and gave businesses more value. The research showed that there are four key parts to digital leadership: commander, communicator, collaborator, and co-creator. The main parts of business intelligence are Data Warehouse, Data Mining, Business Process Management, and Competitive Intelligence. Findings show that digital transformation is made up of three key parts: changing processes, developing business models, and changing domains. The results also show that an employee's level of job satisfaction, which includes things like business success, work commitment, and job thinking, is linked to how much value they add to the company. Intriguingly, the current results go against those of earlier studies, which said that the variables of interest have no effect on how happy employees are with their jobs or how much value companies add for their customers. When the results of this study are looked at as a whole, they say that businesses should start doing things that make employees happier at work and increase the value of the business. The current study is innovative because it focuses on the most important parts of business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and digital leadership in order to improve employee satisfaction at work and the quality of business learning with added value in Greater Amman Municipality.

This study sought to investigate the impacts of big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and business intelligence (BI) on Firms' e-learning and business performance at Jordanian telecommunications industry. After the samples were checked, a total of 269 were collected. All of the information gathered throughout the investigation was analyzed using the PLS software. The results show a network of interconnections can improve both e-learning and corporate effectiveness. This research concluded that the integration of big data, AI, and BI has a positive impact on e-learning infrastructure development and organizational efficiency. The findings indicate that big data has a positive and direct impact on business performance, including Big Data External and Internal, Innovative Usage, Indexing, and Sources Accuracy. In addition, Artificial intelligence positively affects business performance, including Data Accuracy, Data Transparency, Data Speed, and Creative Thinking and Learning. Moreover, business intelligence has a direct and positive impact on business performance, including Data Warehouse, Data Mining, Business Process Management, and Competitive Intelligence. In addition, the findings indicate that e-learning which represents system quality, information quality, and self-efficacy has a positive relationship on enhancing business performance. Interestingly, the present findings are inconsistent with those of previous studies showing the variables of interest which have no effect on e-learning and business performance. Taken together, the findings of this study suggest that firms should begin to apply processes related with applying e-learning and developing business performance. The novelty of the present study lies in highlighting the key dimensions of big data, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence when it comes to enhancing e-learning and business performance at Jordanian telecommunications industry.

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship of digital marketing as a wide emerging marketing tool, in developing public relation values for modern business in the globalized competitive era of mature markets. For this study, the cross-sectional data were collected by 450 respondents including the people as customers, and the managerial staff of the different well-reputed organizations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The findings of this study highlight that there is a clear and strong relationship between digital marketing in developing public relations values, and modern businesses need this technique to develop equity and provide a distinct message about the vision and mission of the organization in the target market. The significance of this study is it addresses the theoretical gap in the literature, and the practical gap in business practices by providing the insight to utilize digital marketing not only for the promotion of products and services but could be used to promote public relation values.

The main objective of this study is to identify the most important criteria and indicators in selection of business intelligence vendors, and ranking the vendors of such tools using Fuzzy Analytical hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS), to compare results of these two methods and to provide appropriate solutions for the sample company, namely National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
Spearman & apos; s rank correlation test was used for comparing the methods and determining their correlation. A strong positive correlation was observed between the ranks of business intelligence tools at the significance level of 0.05 in both methods. The results of the ranking by means of FAHP method show that IBM Company was the best one, followed by Oracle, SAS, QlikTech, SAP and Microsoft. However, based on the FTOPSIS method, Oracle was the leading company, followed by IBM, SAS and SAP and finally Microsoft.

This paper performs an empirical investigation on employees’ business intelligence and customer relationship management and their effects on customer satisfaction. The proposed study has been implemented among 625 people, 240 sales representative and 385 regular customers, who are involved with products of an Iranian automaker named Iran Khodro. The proposed study designs three questionnaires in Likert scale for business intelligence, customer relationship management and customer satisfaction and Cronbach alpha have been calculated for these three questionnaires as 0.85, 0.84 and 0.78, respectively. The study distributes the questionnaires among groups, employees as well as customers, and using one-way t-student test as well as regression technique the study finds that business intelligence and customer relationship management are within an acceptable limit (P & LT; 0.01) and they positively influence on customers’ satisfaction (P & LT; 0.01).

This paper presents an empirical investigation to determine important business intelligence factors influencing on development of export activities. The study selects a sample of business developers who were involved in export activities in city of Tehran, Iran. Cronbach alpha based on standardized items was calculated as 0.882, which is well above the minimum desirable level. In addition, Bartlett & apos; s test of Sphericity yields a Chi-Square value of 3242.82 (df = 861, Sig. = 0.000). Using principle component analysis, the study has determined four factors including competitive position, organizational resources, efficient system and customer orientation influencing on development of export activities.

Nowadays Business Intelligence (BI) tools provide several decision support environment in enterprise systems like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and they are mainly associated with computer-based techniques used in identifying, extracting and analyzing business data, such as sales revenue by products and/or departments, or by associated costs and incomes. The purpose of this paper is to provide a unified framework for the application of BI in ERP systems, which results in value-added quality control and management systems. In this paper, we expect to create business process automation and interaction between environment and technology by applying BI in ERP. Finally, a model is developed to represent the relationship between BI (as enabler of ERP) and the implementation of total quality management (TQM). The results indicate that using business intelligence, as an enabler of ERP, had good effect on achieving successful implementation of all three steps of Mukherjee model.
