In today's competitive business environment, the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies is essential for firms to succeed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between CRM, customer satisfaction, and business profitability in the Jordanian logistics industry. Specifically, the study examines how customer satisfaction mediates the effect of three key CRM on business profitability. To achieve this, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze data collected from 384 employees of logistics firms in Jordan. The results of the study suggest that CRM positively affects customer satisfaction, and that customer satisfaction has a significant mediating effect on the relationship between CRM and business profitability. The findings of this study have important implications for logistics firms seeking to improve their business profitability through the adoption of CRM. By focusing on the three key CRM (Customer Identification, Customer Acquisition, and Customer Analytics), firms can improve their customer satisfaction levels, which, in turn, can lead to improved business profitability. This study adds to the growing body of literature on CRM practices and their impact on business profitability, particularly in the context of the Jordanian logistics industry.

The current research addresses the inventory classification problem of community pharmacies, which have a dual role as both a vital component of the pharmaceutical supply chain and a typical retail store. Despite the existing literature indicating that pharmacists may lack knowledge on inventory management, it seems that the MCIC literature is weak in explaining how pharmacists can benefit from MCDA techniques in all aspects. To bridge this gap, the study aims to demonstrate that pharmacists can utilize MCDA techniques to gain deeper insights beyond mere classification in the context of inventory management. Real-world data from a community pharmacy in Turkey was classified using the EDAS method. Sensitivity analysis was performed for MCDA inputs, about which pharmacists may lack information. Scenario findings based on criterion weights and threshold values offer important managerial implications for pharmacists. This study provides a critical contribution to the literature on inventory management in community pharmacies by highlighting the potential of MCDA techniques to support decision-making beyond mere classification. The sensitivity analysis also sheds light on areas where pharmacists may lack knowledge and suggests ways to address these gaps. Overall, the study underscores the need for pharmacists to have a deeper understanding of inventory management and highlights the potential benefits of MCDA techniques in addressing this challenge.

In the present work, Zn, Cu monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles were synthesized using leaves extract of Borassus flabellifer. Plant extract acts as both surfactant and reducing agent. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterised by UV-Vis, XRD, FESEM, EDX, and HRTEM techniques. UV-Vis spectroscopy is used to monitor the synthesis of nanoparticles. XRD technique was used to confirm the amorphous nature of nanoparticles. The FESEM images demonstrate that the shape of the nanoparticles such as Zn monometallic (pseudo-spherical), Cu monometallic (rod), Zn-Cu bimetallic are (pseudo-spherical and rod-shaped). HRTEM images show the approximate size of the Zn, Cu monometallic and Zn-Cu bimetallic nanoparticles is 3.0 nm, 3.52 nm and 2.2 nm respectively. EDX spectra confirm the presence of Zn, Cu and O in the sample. Synthesized Zn, Cu monometallic nanoparticles, and Zn-Cu bimetallic nanoparticles were used to evaluate their possible antimicrobial, antidiabetic and antioxidant properties. Bimetallic nanoparticles displayed higher antioxidant, antidiabetic, and antimicrobial properties in the comparison of monometallic nanoparticles. The results suggest that Zn-Cu bimetallic nanoparticles have greater potential than monometallic nanoparticles.

The MEWMA chart is one of the traditional multivariate charts which are widely employed in inspecting the quality of manufacturing and services. This chart is created through monitoring the small shifts of mean vectors of variable quality characteristics. Often in practice, the measurement of a quality characteristic produces uncertain, incomplete values, so that ambiguous numbers are obtained. In this condition, a neutrosophic-based control chart can overcome the problem resulting from the ambiguous data. The paper’s objective is to construct a new multivariate monitoring scheme based on a neutrosophic chart, namely the neutrosophic Multivariate EWMA (NMEWMA). Furthermore, the performance of the new multivariate monitoring scheme is evaluated in detecting process shifts employing the Average Run Length (ARL) and Standard Deviation Run Length (SDRL). This control chart is an innovation in the quality monitoring of uncertain data. The research result obtained indicates that the NMEWMA chart performs better than the MEWMA in finding the small mean shifts as well as in the real case application.

In the present work, we presented an efficient synthesis and anticancer activity evaluation of some new 3-R-6-(5-arylfuran-2-yl-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazoles. We have shown that the proposed synthetic protocols provided the possibility to design triazolothiadiazoles diversity with a considerable chemical novelty. The structures of target substances were confirmed by using 1H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The synthesized compounds were selected by the National Cancer Institute Developmental Therapeutic Program for the in vitro cell line screening. Among all the substances tested, three compounds exhibited significant cytotoxic activity.

Nanomaterials have attracted a great deal of attention from the scientific community due to their unique properties and applications. The small size metal oxides have opened up the door for intensive research to utilize their properties for biomedical applications. Silver nanoparticle (AgNPs) and metal oxide nanomaterials like MgO, ZnO, NiO and its silver doped nanocomposites (Ag-MgO, Ag-ZnO, Ag-NiO) have been prepared using solid state combustion method using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as a fuel. The structure of as prepared oxides and its silver doped nanocomposites were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) tool and morphology by Scanning Electron Micrograph (SEM) tool as well as Transmission electron micrograph tool respectively. Presence of the metals in the oxides and its Ag composite was confirmed by the EDX pattern. Bonding nature in the composite is well studied by the Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) tool. Antibacterial activity studies of the nanocomposites are carried out against various bacteria.

Fused pyrimidines play an imperative role in our life due to their biological importance in the struggle of microorganisms. A series of 4-aryl-3-methyl-1-phenyl-1,4,6,7-tetrahydropyrazolo[3,4-d] thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine (4a-j) were synthesized by cyclization of 3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-aryl-1,4,5,7-tetrahydro-6H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-6-thiones (3a-j) with 1,2-dibromoethane in presence of anhydrous potassium carbonate. Earlier, compounds (3a-j) were synthesized by the condensation of 5-methyl-2-phenyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one (2), different substituted benzaldehyde and thiourea with catalytic amount of con. HCl in methanol. Compound 2 was synthesized by condensation of ethyl acetoacetate (1) and phenylhydrezine in presence of a catalytic amount of acetic acid at reflux temperature. The constitution of the synthesized products has been characterized by using elemental analysis, Infrared, ¹H-NMR spectroscopy and further supported by Mass spectroscopy. All the products have been screened for their in-vitro biological assay like antibacterial and antifungal activity at concentration of 500 μg/ml. It was exposed that most of the compounds displayed inspiring antibacterial and antifungal activity compared to the used reference standard.

This study aims to investigate the impact of logistic management on maritime transportation Service Performance in Oman. According to the resource-based view theory, firms with an inward organizational focus believe that performance stems from unique resources and capabilities specific to the firm. Based on this premise, successful companies aim to cultivate distinctive capabilities, often of intangible nature, to drive future competitiveness. This descriptive study examines the impact of logistic management on maritime transportation service performance. Based on a non- probability sample of 200 respondents from logistics and maritime transport service companies. The relationship between variables was analyzed using structural calculation modeling. The results showed that five out of the nine hypotheses were all positively and significantly supported (supply to services quality, transportation to cost, transportation to services quality, transportation to time and warehousing to cost). While the relationship between (supply to cost, supply to time, warehousing to service quality, warehousing to time) were not supported. The study focuses on the one maritime service provider in Oman, thus precluding the generalizability of findings to other logistics service or logistics areas.

In Indonesia, the success of coal extraction largely depends on the role of mining contractors. One of these successes is determined by proper asset management amidst uncertainty in the coal business, such as sustainability and digitalization issues. However, research that identifies the role of asset management in improving the performance of mining projects is still rare. Therefore, this research investigates the impact of Information technology capability, sustainability practices, and asset management on improving the performance of coal mining contractor projects in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods, with questionnaire data filled in by 128 project managers of mining contractor projects spread across Indonesia and analyzed by applying structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that Information technology capability and sustainability practices have a substantial and beneficial effect on improving asset management, which then enhances the performance of mining contractors. Interestingly, there is no direct impact of Information technology capability and sustainability practices on the operational performance of mining projects, so asset management is highly needed. The originality of this study is in the recognition of asset management as a valuable asset for firms that have integrated Information technologies & sustainability practices, as it promotes improved operational performance of projects, and there is still rarely any previous research that examines sustainability practices and asset management, especially mining projects. This research contributes to developing the resource-based view (RBV) theory and also contributes managerially to the practices that mining contractors must carry out when dealing with uncertain business situations.

This study aims to examine the mediating role of social media marketing effectiveness in the relationship between customer engagement dimensions (cognitive, emotional, behavioral, transactional, and social) and brand loyalty in the context of Amazon as a retail brand store. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing a survey-based method to collect data from 320 consumers who engage with Amazon as a retail brand store on social media platforms. Findings reveal positive effects of cognitive, emotional, transactional, and social engagement on brand loyalty and social media marketing effectiveness. However, behavioral engagement exhibited a negative impact. Social media marketing effectiveness positively influenced brand loyalty and mediated the relationships between customer engagement dimensions and brand loyalty. This study contributes to literature by challenging assumptions and providing insights into the interplay among customer engagement dimensions, social media marketing effectiveness, and brand loyalty. This offers brands the opportunity to promote and increase their awareness with the use of social media to interact with existing customer base that will boost loyalty in the long run. Only a few studies have examined social media marketing effectiveness as a mediator between customer engagement dimensions and brand loyalty. Therefore, this work endeavors to fill this gap by investigating consumer engagement, social media marketing and brand loyalty in an age when the internet plays an important role.
