In this VUCA world, much can be achieved when one is open to learning. The purpose of this study is to ana-lyze the impact of organizational learning culture, employee commitment, and job satisfaction towards motivation to transfer learning. The data are collected by distributing 200 questionnaires for employees working in Jakarta area. The method used to do the analysis is by using a multilinear regression. Based on the result, organizational learning culture and job satisfaction had significant impacts to motivation to transfer learning. Meanwhile, employee commitment does not have significant effect on motivation to transfer learning, however, it has an impact on the gender, age, and length of work.

This study addresses the issue of rising turnover intention in Pakistan’s aviation industry and provides a theoretical foundation for lowering the turnover intention with the help of consumer citizenship behavior (CCB) and consumer-based brand equity by using the S-O-R theory. The data is collected with the help of structured personally administered questions following the intercept approach. Three most frequently used international airports which are located at Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar are targeted for data collection and total of 388 Pakistani flyers who traveled to international destinations participate in the survey. In addition, this study uses SmartPLS 3.2.7 for data analysis with the help of a two-stage approach. The results state that CBBE had a significant effect on CCB and CCB had a significant impact on turnover intentions. Furthermore, CCB plays the role of an important mediator for the effect of customer based brand equity (CBBE) on turnover intention. These results enhance existing literature about lowering the turnover intention with the help of CCB and CBBE in aviation industry of Pakistan. The study also highlights that managers and practitioners should improve customer engagement for exhibiting CCB to reduce customer turnover intentions in the aviation industry.

This paper deals with the problems faced with the designing and planning of a sporting fixture considering correct referee assignments. A non-linear binary program model is proposed to solve the problems, which aims to minimize the sums of the differences that exist between the requirements of each match and the quality of the referee assigned achieving the design of the most adequate referee for each match. The efficiency of the proposed model is proved using some real data obtained from various fixtures for sports such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball. The mathematical model is solved by using CPLEX 12.7.0., which allows the automatic linearization of the problems. The results obtained demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed methodology for tackling problems, as well as its extension to other sporting disciplines, which require a similar type of planning. Similarly, given the robust nature of the proposed model, it is possible to implement other objective functions in accordance with the requirements of each league.

This study analyzes the effects of intangible resources on competitive advantage in the banking sector of Nigeria. The marketing related, technological and structural dimensions of intangibles are employed while differentiation and cost leadership strategy are used as components of competitive advantage. The population of the study consists of bank employees of ten deposit money banks in Benin City, Nigeria. A sample size of 300 is adopted for this study. The instrument is a modified 35 item structured questionnaire previously validated by other studies. The study uses confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation technique to evaluate the validity of the measurement and structural model. The hypothesized relations are tested using regression analysis. The results confirm that marketing related, technological and structural categories of intangible resources promoted competitive advantage. It is recommended that bank management should promote the development of their intangible resources.

This study aims to develop a measurement scale for Supply Chain Integration (SCI) and Firm Performance (FP) in Jordanian SMEs. The study instrument was developed based on the previous studies and the survey included 284 companies in Jordan. A sample of 263 responses were used for exploratory analysis. Results show that the 46-item instrument was loaded on four factors. During this phase, the measurement scale was purified to 36 items, and characterized with a high degree of reliability. The results were confirmed using confirmatory factor analysis and showed that the 36-item measurement model met the empirical requirements namely, convergent, construct, and discriminant validity. The fitness indicators test for the model shows that it is applicable in SMEs companies’ environment in Jordan. The study presented implications for decision-makers in SMEs companies. The limitation of this study was presented which were relied on to develop directions for future research.

The speed of mobility of public funds by the banking sector implies the conditions of economic liquidity and internal bank liquidity. The faster the mobility of funds, the more the availability of liquidity for the community, the higher banking profitability, and the lower bank's internal liquidity. The uncontrolled mobility of funds can have severe consequences for both banks and society. As an intermediary financial institution, banking plays the main role to be the intermediary institution between surplus units and deficit units. This study aims to find out the factors influencing funds mobilization by Regional Development Bank (RDB) in Indonesia. The data research is quarterly financial statement secondary data of Indonesian regional banking from 2010 to 2017. There are 26 RDBs as the sample and this research uses regression as the research method. The result shows that regional external economic variables such as GDP, Exchange Rate and Inflation, market concentration, and banking characteristics affected the funds mobilization of Indonesian RDBs. This means the pricing strategy must consider more to external and internal variables of economics. In the future, Indonesian RDBs need to develop specific deposits and credits products to maintain and increase the mobilization of funds function.

The separate delivery and collection services of goods through different routes is an issue of current interest for some transportation companies by the need to avoid the reorganization of the loads inside the vehicles, to reduce the return of the vehicles with empty load and to give greater priority to the delivery customers. In the vehicle routing problem with backhauls (VRPB), the customers are partitioned into two subsets: linehaul (delivery) and backhaul (pickup) customers. Additionally, a precedence constraint is established: the backhaul customers in a route should be visited after all the linehaul customers. The VRPB is presented in the literature as an extension of the capacitated vehicle routing problem and is NP-hard in the strong sense. In this paper, we propose a mixed integer linear programming formulation for the VRPB, based on the generalization of the open vehicle routing problem; that eliminates the possibility of generating solutions formed by subtours using a set of new constraints focused on obtaining valid solutions formed by Hamiltonian paths and connected by tie-arcs. The proposed formulation is a general purpose model in the sense that it does not deserve specifically tailored algorithmic approaches for their effective solution. The computational results show that the proposed compact formulation is competitive against state-of-the-art exact methods for VRPB instances from the literature.

Academics and practitioners have become more interested in big data analytics (BDA) in recent years. There have been few empirical studies on the relationship between BDA and green supply chain management (GSCM), as well as the importance of environmental orientation (EO). A total of 128 responses from Jordanian industrial businesses were evaluated using the structural equation modeling method. The BDA, EO has a favorable and significant relationship with external and internal GSCM, according to the findings of this study. Furthermore, EO serves as a mediator between BDA and the external, and internal GSCM. The findings provide managerial insight into how to use BDA to establish a proactive environmental policy that covers all GSCM activities.

To meet the needs of innovation, to improve the competitiveness of information technology based on the professional abilities and resources, internal business is not enough, but there is a need to seek external support through business support services such as market search support, trade promotion, legal advice, human resource training, support supply and technology transfer support. There are several services to support businesses and to increase efficiency when they are developed in both quantity and scale of service provision and quality, as well as service structure. So how do we analyze the factors that affect information technology support services in Vietnam? Answering this question helps to suggest solutions and policies to promote the development of the business support service sector and contributes to the rapid development of information technology enterprises in Vietnam. This paper uses information from a survey data of 315 Vietnamese information technology (IT) of small and medium sized enterprises and 460 support service providers in 2018. Data are processed through STATA software version 14.0, and SPSS 20.0 software. The results indicate the Vietnamese business units need to improve to develop the information technology service market, significantly.

Aggregate production planning (APP) is concerned with determining the optimum production and workforce levels for each period over the medium term planning horizon. It aims to set overall production levels for each product family to meet fluctuating demand in the near future. APP is one of the most critical areas of production planning systems. After the state-of-the-art summaries in 1992 by Nam and Logendran [ Nam, S. J., & Logendran, R. (1992). Aggregate production planning—a survey of models and methodologies. European Journal of Operational Research, 61(3), 255-272. ], which specifically summarized the various existing techniques from 1950 to 1990 into a framework depending on their abilities to either produce an exact optimal or near-optimal solution, there has not been any systematic survey in the literature. This paper reviews the literature on APP models to meet two main purposes. First, a systematic structure for classifying APP models is proposed. Second, the existing gaps in the literature are demonstrated in order to extract future directions of this research area. This paper covers a variety of APP models’ characteristics including modeling structures, important issues, and solving approaches, in contrast to other literature reviews in this field which focused on methodologies in APP models. Finally some directions for future research in this research area are suggested.
