The present work aims to emphasize the impact of extrinsic job satisfaction factors on the organizational commitment of accounting professionals in Tunisia. Our methodology is applied to 140 accounting professionals. The results show that the extrinsic factors of job satisfaction, such as the company policy, relationship with peers, relationship with supervisor, and working conditions, have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. However, the salary and job safety have a positive and significant effect on continuance commitment, but they do not have insignificant effect on the affective and normative commitments.

This study aimed to investigate factors affecting behavioral intention and use behavior of technologies of Thai people under the COVID-19 circumstances. 390 respondents were participated in our survey as sample size for statistical analysis. The authors utilized PLS-SEM assessment for testing the research hypotheses. Descriptive analysis revealed that Thai people in the quarantine period or work from home had suffered from a moderate to high levels of anxiety or stress. This has made Thai people increasingly use online and mobile technology or programs compared to the past. The study revealed four key factors that had significant and positive effects on the intention of users in using online technology including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, trust, and perceived risk. In addition, it indicated that behavioral intention positively affected the actual use behavior of technologies during quarantine time. The authors expect that policymakers or strategists could be used to manage the use of online and mobile technology for people, especially during the tough time.

The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of empowering leadership on organizations outcomes with the mediating role of work engagement, personal group fit and personal job fit. In addition, the study chooses the employee proactive personality as a moderator between empowering leadership and organization outcomes. The study selects a sample of 280 employee of Business park co, a company located in Jordan. To collect the necessary data, the questionnaire was published. The results provide an important relationship between employment leadership and organization outcomes. Also, empowering leadership is emphatically affecting the empowering leadership through work engagement with aberrant impact of person job fit and person-group fit. The results also indicate proactive personality expanded empowering leadership direct impact on person-job fit and person-group fit and circuitous impact on work engagement.

This study aims to cast the light on the impact of lean manufacturing on performing Jordanian public shareholding industrial companies listed in ASE. Data were collected and developed through a questionnaire built on the basis of previous studies. The number of companies that answered the questionnaire questions was 38 companies out of 45 companies, which means that the percentage of the study sample reached 84.44% of the study community. The results showed that lean manufacturing has an impact on the performance in its three dimensions; namely operational, financial, and the environmental. The improvement of operational, financial and environmental performance, as a result of applying lean manufacturing method was optimized to 9.2%-11.8%. In fact, the pharmaceutical industries were the most sectors that apply the lean manufacturing method, followed by food industry companies and then chemicals companies, which were the lowest sector that applies lean manufacturing method.

The paper was designed with the purpose of discovering the relationships among legal environment, corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and business success. Data collection from 869 companies was processed with quantitative methodology; all of the respondents were identified to be working at the managerial level in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province, Vietnam. The empirical outcomes indicated that legal environment significantly affects business success directly and indirectly the mediation of CSR practices; economic CSR, philanthropic CSR, legal CSR and environment CSR. Ethical CSR was excluded from the proposed model after exploratory factor analysis. By developing the awareness of CSR and encouraging Vietnamese corporates to practice on CSR activities, this study contributes to the local business’s further growth for better business performances as well as for the overall benefit of the society. Moreover, suggestions for future researches are also recommended to extend the related topics.

The study identified factors affecting the income of migrant households in Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province. To achieve this goal, in this study we surveyed 385 migrant households in the study area. The analysis of the multivariate linear regression model has identified three factors that have significant impacts on household income, including (i) the number of migrants, (ii) Number of activities income generation activities, (iii) Destination of migrants. On this basis, the study offers some meaningful solutions to improve income and ensure the lives of migrant households in Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province in the near future.

The primary objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between Human Resources Management Practices (HRMP) and Job Engagement with mediating role of Psycho-logical Capital (PsyCap) in Telecommunications companies in Jordan (Zain, Orange, Umniah). The researcher relied on descriptive analytical method to analyze and classify the data to achieve the objectives of the study and to identify the variables of the study. A total of (270) questionnaires are sent out to the top and middle management of Jordanian telecom companies in Amman (Zain, Orange, Umniah), 9 questionnaires are excluded, as they were not valid for statistical analysis. The number of questionnaires analyzed are 261 (96.7%). The results showed that there was an impact of the dimensions (Jobs analysis and description, Selection and recruitment, Training, Performance appraisal) on Job Engagement and Psychological Capital. Also, the results indicate an impact of Psychological Capital on Job Engagement and there is a partial impact of the Psychological Capital, that is, there is an impact of Human Resources Management Practices through the moderator variable (Psychological Capital).

The objective of this study is to study the effect of technical quality in improving the performance of the university and to know the relationship between them. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was designed and distributed among 213 academic scientific department heads who were working for five Iraqi universities and the results were analyzed using SPSS version 23. The results showed the effect of technical quality in improving performance in Iraqi universities. There was also a positive correlation between technical quality and performance while the results indicated a weak academic program. From the results of the research, we suggest some treatments.

Generally speaking, the severe financial constraints of the municipalities on the one hand, and the inefficiency of state investment companies on the other hand, affirm the necessity of private sector participation in the efficiency of providing services to cities. The performance of the private sector in comparison with the public sector has its own properties and characteristics, the most important of which are high performance and access to diverse resources. Valuable international experience in the field of municipalities’ utilization of private sector capacities to implement urban services projects confirms this issue. The present study was conducted aiming to apply fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making technique (FMCDM) in formulating and prioritizing strategies for developing economic participation in urban management of Ahvaz Metropolis. The main research approach was developmental-applied, descriptive, analytical, and survey research. Based on the SWOT analysis, identifying and evaluating the current situation were done and then, according to the identified criteria, four strategies were developed. Finally, using FDEMATEL technique, strategies were prioritized. The research results show that the strategies such as doing pathological study in Ahvaz municipality investment; designing and providing investment packages; increasing the positive interaction with the executive and necessary devices with the participation of other interested organizations for the promotion of services and performing tasks based on laws, regulations and guidelines delegated to the municipality; forecasting the incentive system to reduce the risk of projects; providing Cadastre and GIS; designing a database of investors and urban projects; setting up an in-vestment facilitation team with the participation of departments related to the municipality; and identifying regular investment capacities related to inherent duties of the municipality are among the most important strategies in developing economic participation in Ahwaz Metropolis.

The purpose of this article is to make an assessment on infrastructure development efficiency based on Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method. The proposed method allows assessing the level of current infrastructure conditions which provides production and social dimension of its stable development. The article substantiates the necessity of conducting an analytical assessment of infrastructure development level which identifies its weaknesses and determines potential of improving its performance indicators. An integral assessment of transport infrastructure efficiency is proposed. To assess the problems of infrastructure development provision, a comparative analyses and ordering the objects according to growth or decrease of the indicators is performed. The results of the research allow discovering the causes of harmful phenomena in the system of management and development, and identifies major trends and prospects of development.
