Firms’ competitiveness plays an important role to achieve better performance and entrepreneurship; however, competitiveness needs to be supported by internal resources. The purpose of this paper is to examine the support of value creation, distinctive competencies, and market orientation on competitiveness creation by an entrepreneur. The study is based on the competitiveness phenomenon of SMEs in Jakarta, associated with the performance. So, this experimental research is conducted by a survey among 120 entrepreneur SMEs in Jakarta. The data are collected by questionnaire and data analysis is performed through some statistical tools. For research model, the study examined the result through the research hypothesis test. The result found that value creation correlates with competitiveness creation, market orientation and distinctive competencies which yields competitiveness.

The concept of sustainable development is inseparable in the business world. In that term, there are three aspects, namely economic, social, and environmental that must be balanced with each other. It is hoped that this concept is needed to know by entrepreneurs in starting their businesses. After that, this business is expected to become a sustainable business that can survive to face the challenges. Mediation input is given in the form of entrepreneurial orientation which can accelerate the creation of sustainable businesses, thus there is a correlation between sustainable development and entrepreneurs. In addition, the entrepreneur variables correlate to entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial orientation has a relationship with sustainable business. In turn, sustainable development, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial orientation, and sustainable business also deserve further study. This paper examines the relationship between the four variables to the SMEs in Jakarta. Where we want to know how the relationship between the variables of sustainable development with entrepreneurs that aim to achieve sustainable business by mediating entrepreneurial orientation. It also examines the direct comparison between entrepreneurs and sustainable businesses and the relationship between the two variables mediated by entrepreneurial orientation variables. The research data was taken from business operators in Jakarta totaling 245 out of 49 dimensions of the four variables. Data processing is done by structural equation modeling (SEM) through the Lisrel version 8.7 program. Then the calculation results are analyzed based on statistical provisions in getting indications of the relationship between variables. It is found that there is a positive relationship between sustainable development and entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs also have a positive relationship with entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial orientation has a positive relationship with sustainable business. It turns out that the relationship between entrepreneurs who have gained an understanding of the concept of sustainable development and sustainable business is a significant positive compared to mediating entrepreneurial orientation which remains positive but not significant through the Sobel test that has conducted.

This research aims to determine the work-life balance of female managers at the group and organizational levels of banks using the explanatory relational method. Data were obtained from 267 low/middle level female managers of SOE banks in Indonesia with the quantitative analysis, and structural equation models (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that work-life balance had a positive and indirect effect on the relationships, communication skills and leadership styles, of female managers at the organizational and group levels.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of utilitarian value and service quality on customer satisfaction to increase repurchase. The population in this study were SMEs consumers and the sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, while the non-probability sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 128 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data was by using a questionnaire. The research method was quantitative, the data obtained were based on answers from respondents to the questionnaire, analyzed by statistical techniques of multiple linear regression analysis, the regression model was tested with classical assumptions in order to meet the requirements and was feasible to use to predict the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the regression calculations were tested by t-test and coefficient of determination, while the results of mediation calculations were tested by path analysis and Sobel tests with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 25.0 program. After analyzing the data, the following results and conclusions were obtained: (1) Utilitarian Value has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction (2) Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction (3) Utilitarian Value has no effect on Repurchase Intention (4) Service Quality has no positive and significant effect on Repurchase Intention, (5) Customer Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Repurchase Intention,(6) Utilitarian Value through Customer Satisfaction has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention. (7) Service Quality through Customer Satisfaction has a significant effect to Repurchase Intention.

This study analyzes the effect of customer relationship quality, entrepreneurial social competence and customer sensing on market penetration capabilities in the SME sector. In addition, by taking market penetration capability as a mediating variable, this study examines the effect of the independent variable on marketing performance in SMEs. The study results highlight several important findings regarding the competitive advantage of SMEs and the formation of networks and highlight the importance of network formation in SMEs, where the development of networks or partnerships is one of the critical success factors for improving SME performance. The originality of this study lies in examining the strategic influence of customer relationship management dimensions in an entrepreneurial outlook in the small and medium business sector on improving organizational capabilities to penetrate the market for the purpose of improving marketing performance. Practically, this finding is useful to increase the interaction of SMEs with customers during certain stages in the product development process to get positive added value on product success and the formation of competencies that encourage businesses to enter the market based on social familiarity, feature-oriented attractiveness, and interwoven customer emotional loyalty.

Organizations rely on information technology to integrate internally and externally to create process efficiency in increasing competitiveness. Information technology can support digitalization in companies to maintain green supply chain management. Manufacturing companies are required to be able to pay attention to the environment by maintaining the balance of nature. The object of this research is manufacturing companies located in East Java. Data were collected from respondents through questionnaires which were distributed using Google form. The results of the questionnaire distribution were obtained from a total of 108 companies analyzed using the partial least squares method. The analysis shows that digitalization affects supply chain integration, green supply chain, and resilience. Digitalization in the supply chain can form a strong integration, energy efficiency, and effectiveness to survive. Supply chain integration affects the green supply chain and supply chain resilience. Integration in the supply chain system, able to overcome environmental problems and optimize resources. A green supply chain affects supply chain resilience. Supply chain integration, green supply chain, and supply chain resilience affect a firm competitive advantage. Practical research contributions for management to allocate budgets with the needs of application development and supply chain systems within the company. Supply chain digitization is a solid foundation for companies to have a competitive advantage against competitors.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the e-procurement on supply chain performance and supply chain innovation. The study also investigates the effect of supply chain innovation on supply chain performance. The research method is a quantitative survey, and the research data is obtained by distributing online questionnaires on a scale from 1 to 7 distributed via social media. Respondents in this study are 250 managers of manufacturing organizations in Indonesia determined by simple random sampling method. The model used in this study is the causality model and to test the hypotheses proposed in this study, the analytical technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software as a data analysis tool. The independent variable of this research is e-procurement implementation, supply chain innovation and the dependent variable is supply chain performance. The stages of data analysis are validity test, reliability test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the application of e-procurement had a positive and significant effect on supply chain performance, the application of e-procurement had a positive and significant effect on supply chain innovation, supply chain innovation had a positive and significant effect on supply chain performance and supply chain innovation was able to mediate the effect of e-procurement on supply chain performance.

Research in the field of marketing management with RBV Theory in improving business performance at river tourism objects. Entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capability become independent variables with customer relationship management as mediation in improving business performance. Research analysis with SEM-PLS on 350 river customers in Kereng Bangkirai, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research results show that entrepreneurial orientation is not directly significant to business performance, while customer relationship management is significant. Dynamic result ability is not significant to business performance and significant to customer relationship management. These results can be an introduction that business performance is very important with the role of entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities with customer relationship management mediation. Result implications can increase business capabilities with entrepreneurial oriented business strategies, dynamic capabilities and customer relationship management in improving business performance. In further research can consider market sensing capability as mediation.

This study aims to examine the impact of customer ethical perception on brand value co-creation in online transportation services through the role of serial mediation of customer-brand identification, overall satisfaction and transportation application commitment. This research was conducted on 300 generations Y and Z online transportation services users in the Province of Bali, Indonesia. Partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for analysis purposes. It was found that customer ethical perception does not directly affect brand value co-creation. On the other hand, satisfaction mediates the influence of customer ethical perception on brand value co-creation. We then found that customer-brand identification and transportation application commitment mediate the influence of customer ethical perception on brand value co-creation serially. This study is the first to examine the role of serial mediation by using three variables namely customer-brand identification, satisfaction and transportation application commitment on the effect of customer ethical perception on brand value co-creation.

This research aimed to know both the direct and indirect contribution of cargo loading and discharging time to the Loss and gain of coal mediated by load quantity. The process of data collecting was done through secondary data taken from the loading port of Jetty in Samarinda Port and the discharging port of Muara Berau, East Kalimantan. During 2020, there was an average loss of coal cargo of as much as 56 percent. This was caused by the long waiting discharge time during the loading and discharging. Another problem was the long waiting discharge time, as many Mother Vessels, tugboats, and barges entered the Jetty port and made a density there. The research method used path analysis with the loading-discharging unit as the source of secondary data on the determining factors of load quantity and the Loss and gain of coal cargo. This research indicated that one of the dominant factors was waiting discharge time, as a problem frequently occurred when vessels would berth in the port for discharging activities. The key finding was the necessity for the competent party to pay special attention to the factors contributing to vessels’ waiting discharge time in the port by providing services as maximally as possible through human resources improvement in the form of training.
