The aim of this research was to investigate the impact of various work-related factors, such as task load, workers’ compensation, and organizational structure community on job success and the overall performance of the Jordan tourism board. The researchers conducted an analysis of 269 randomly selected samples from their study and discussed their findings to validate their hypotheses. The study revealed that factors like compensation levels, organizational structure, community, and task load significantly influence individual and organizational success. The first aspect examined was the task load, which was assessed by considering factors such as job completion rates, daily challenges faced, and the time required for tasks. Work-related compensation, encompassing factors like experience, skill, incentives, and rewards, emerged as the second most crucial factor after working hours. The third and most vital component to consider was the organization structure community, which includes communities of practice, collaborative efforts, and physical infrastructure. According to the research findings, improving employee performance can be achieved by reducing their task load, increasing work income, and developing the organization community that fosters teamwork and the formation of workgroups. These elements collectively impact overall productivity. The study provides valuable insights into an underexplored area, shedding light on how task load, compensation, and organizational structure community interplay. The research's focus on the Jordan tourism board is particularly significant, as it has the potential to help tourism companies enhance their operations and provide superior service to their customers.

Quality management has become inevitable and ubiquitous in higher education, especially given the increasing competition in both industry and professional orientation. To date, there has been no broad consensus about the trends and determinants in this field despite research existing for several decades now. Experts disagree on the use and impact of quality management systems in higher education, and there is a considerable geographical disparity in terms of the progress made in the field. In this article, a bibliometric analysis consisting of data from 966 articles from the Web of Science database (scanned extant literature) was to identify the most pertinent papers, sources, authors, countries, publication dynamics, and themes. It reveals a comprehensive quality management assessment in higher education. It also revealed the most prominent role of service-quality leadership in current research and quality culture, training, performance, and improvement techniques as the areas relevant for future research. Several countries need to refocus their effort on improvement in quality training and the impact of quality management in the higher education context.

This study investigates how Total Quality Management (TQM) influences the quality of Health care services in Jordan. To test this relationship, a survey was distributed to 220 employees working at different Jordanian hospitals. The results show significant and positive association between all TQM dimensions (customer focus, top management support, fact-based decision making, employees' involvement, and continuous improvement) and the quality of health care services in Jordan. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of TQM in enhancing the quality of health care service and recommends hospitals ‘management and policy makers to adopt and integrate various TQM practices into the Jordanian health sector.

This study investigates the mechanism by which customers’ affective and cognitive states drive their behavioural intentions towards upscale restaurants. With stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory as a backbone, two competing mediation scenarios; one-step versus two-step mediation are examined. A dataset of 425 conveniently selected valid responses was used to test the models. Structural equation modelling shows that customer behavioural intentions were better explained by a cognitive-affective mediated model than by one-step mediated model. The results of hypotheses testing reveal the significance of restaurant design in enrichening customers’ cognitive experience, thus, eliciting their affective states, which ultimately affect their behavioural intentions. This paper shows the applicability of the cognitive theory of emotions in explaining restaurant design-customer behavioural intentions relationship. The results also provide insights for restaurant operators on how the design characteristics of their restaurants can be best utilised to encourage positive customer responses. Discussion, conclusion and future work are also provided.

This study investigates the critical role of information technology integration in enhancing project risk management, specifically examining the mediating effect of risk identification effectiveness. Based on a quantitative approach, the study collected data from 173 respondents working in the construction, engineering, and telecommunication sectors using a comprehensive questionnaire. We employed Smart PLS-SEM for data analysis to test the study hypotheses. Our findings reveal that IT integration significantly and positively influences both risk identification effectiveness and overall project risk management. Importantly, the study confirms the mediating role of risk identification effectiveness, indicating that IT's contribution to successful project risk management is significantly enhanced when it empowers teams to identify potential risks early and accurately. These findings indicate the strategic importance for organizations in these sectors to prioritize investments in IT solutions that not only streamline project management processes but also specifically enhance risk identification capabilities. Discussion and conclusion were depicted at the end of work.

This study investigates the impact of various IT tools on project management efficiency within the public sector, specifically examining the mediating role of team communication quality. The study utilized a quantitative approach, data was collected from 197 public sector organizations across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon. The study employed PLS-SEM to analyze the relationships between project management software, communication platforms, collaboration tools, team communication quality, and project management efficiency. The findings confirm that project management software, communication platforms, and collaboration tools each positively influence project management efficiency. Moreover, the study reveals the crucial mediating role of team communication quality. Specifically, the positive impact of these IT tools on project management efficiency is significantly channeled through their ability to enhance team communication. These findings underscore the importance for public sector organizations to not only invest in diverse IT tools but also to prioritize initiatives that foster effective team communication to maximize project success and overall organizational efficiency.

This study investigates the impact of different leadership styles on project success, specifically examining the mediating role of team collaboration. This study utilized a diverse sample of 202 respondents representing five distinct national contexts: Jordan, Saudi Arabia, China, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. PLS-SEM were employed to analyze the relationships between transformational leadership, transactional leadership, laissez-faire leadership, team collaboration, and project success. Our findings reveal that both transformational and transactional leadership styles are positively associated with project success. Conversely, laissez-faire leadership demonstrated a negative relationship with team collaboration but did not directly predict project success. Importantly, team collaboration was found to mediate the relationship between both transformational leadership and project success, as well as between transactional leadership and project success. However, the hypothesized mediating role of team collaboration between laissez-faire leadership and project success was not supported. These findings underscore the critical role of leadership style and team collaboration in achieving project success, offering valuable insights for organizations and project managers seeking to optimize leadership practices and foster collaborative work environments.

The main goal of this research is to study and investigate the impact of data management and analysis tools on improving organizational behavior within three IT service firms in Jordan. This research focuses on choosing three data management and analysis tools: Database analysis tool, data processing tool, and big data processing tool and how these tools could positively influence enhancing employee performance and organizational behavior. It accomplishes this within the distinct framework of three Jordanian IT service firms. The research supposed that combining big data analysis, integrated data processing, and database analysis is necessary to enhance organizational behavior and employee performance, as indicated by the findings. Furthermore, the research highlights the potential for IT service firms in Jordan to benefit from emerging database analysis technologies, promote the use of integrated data processing techniques, and leverage big data analysis for their own benefit. This can enhance corporate behavior and employee performance. Data was distributed and collected from three Jordanian IT service firms, and all collected data was analyzed using AMOS. The study's findings offer valuable recommendations for enhancing the operational efficiency of IT service firms in similar business environments, emphasizing the crucial importance of comprehending and purposefully employing database-related technologies for sustained prosperity.

Businesses heavily depend on social media to engage with customers, utilizing various platforms for interaction, feedback, and promoting products. The influence of social media on customer trust, loyalty, and satisfaction is a prominent subject. This study seeks to comprehend how businesses leverage social media to attain these objectives, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods. The initial exploratory phase collected qualitative data from 24 business enterprises, employing grounded theory techniques such as open, axial, and selective coding to pinpoint the primary factors affecting customer trust, satisfaction, and loyalty. Building on the insights from the exploratory study, the research proposes a model and hypotheses. The subsequent confirmatory study employs a quantitative approach, collecting data from 300 respondents in Jordan and utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for analysis. Results underscore the pivotal roles of personalization, user-generated content, communications, word-of-mouth, emotions, promotions, and customer support as social media directions in shaping customer trust, satisfaction, and loyalty. This research provides valuable insights into the dynamics of how social media shapes customer relations, offering guidance to businesses navigating this ever-evolving landscape.

This study investigates the impact of game-based (gamification) e-Learning techniques on students' engagement, thereby, their satisfaction with e-learning in Jordanian private universities. A conceptual model was developed based on existing empirical evidence from the literature. Data was then collected through a self-administered questionnaire survey from 198 private university students, who were conveniently selected for the study. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with smart PLS 23. Data analysis revealed a positive effect of gamification on both student engagement and satisfaction, suggesting that incorporating gaming elements into the e-learning process in Jordanian private universities led to higher levels of student engagement, thereby greater student satisfaction with the e-learning experience. A mediating role was also found for student engagement on the effect of gamification on student satisfaction. The findings provide insights to practitioners on how gamification can be utilized as an effective strategy to deliver a more enjoyable and interactive e-learning experience. Research findings were discussed, and conclusions and implications were lastly provided.
