This research aims to investigate the impact of digital transformation on the operational efficiency, customer experience, competitive advantage, organizational performance, and risk management in Jordanian Islamic banks. A descriptive analytical method was used, collecting primary data from a survey of 68 employees across four Islamic banks. Statistical tools, including linear regression and correlation, were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that digital transformation significantly influences the operational efficiency, competitive advantage, customer experience, organizational performance, and risk management of Islamic banks at a significance level of α ≤ 0.05. While digital transformation generally enhanced operational outcomes and customer experience, it also increased exposure to risks such as electronic attacks, fraud, and privacy concerns. The results highlight the importance of integrating digital transformation in Islamic banking while employing robust risk management strategies. These findings provide insights for policymakers, bank managers, and researchers in formulating strategic initiatives for digital transformation in the banking sector. The research contributes to the literature by focusing on the role of digital transformation in Islamic banking, a less-explored area in academic studies. This research also presents valuable implications for practice, specifically for banks and regulators to balance the potential of digital transformation with the associated risks.

The global supply networks have been disrupted and weak connections exposed to an extent that few people have ever seen in their lifetime due to the COVID-19 epidemic. As a result of the severity of the crisis, every country and industry is feeling the effects, and the massive shifts in demand and supply that have happened throughout the epidemic are easily distinguishable from the effects of previous crises. We looked into the adaptability of alliance management and AI-driven supply chain analytics in the context of an ever-changing external environment. We examined four hypotheses in this area using survey data from the American auto components manufacturing industry. To do the analysis, we used Smart PLS. Alliance management capabilities, mediated by AI-powered supply chain analytics capacity, have been found to increase an organization's operational and financial performance. We also discovered, with environmental dynamics as a moderating factor, that alliance management capability has a substantial impact on AI-powered supply chain analytics capabilities. Based on our findings, we have a deep appreciation for the interplay between dynamic capacities and the relational view of organization. Finally, we pointed up the limitations of our study and offered a number of directions for future investigation that might help address some of the concerns that our results raise.

The importance of entrepreneurial competencies and information technology capabilities has increased in the last few decades because of the strategic role played by the entrepreneurs. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneur competency and information technology capability on business success. A survey questionnaire was conducted to test the influence of entrepreneur competency and information technology capability. This questionnaire was filled by 403 participants who were recruited through Jordan Chamber of Commerce so as to identify the business owners who had started their companies in the recent years. The findings of the study showed that entrepreneurial competencies have a positive effect on business success and information technology which was used as a mediating role has a positive impact on both entrepreneurial competencies and business success. The findings of this research will be helpful to entrepreneurs and policy makers.

The primary goal of this study is to investigate the major elements that impact customer attitudes regarding internet purchasing in Jordan. This study employed a qualitative systematic literature review methodology, with 100 existing peer-reviewed articles completed in Jordan chosen for evaluation based on an inclusion/exclusion criterion. The findings of this study were collected utilizing a thematic method, which involved extracting previous researchers' findings from the literature, categorizing similar themes and findings, and drawing conclusions. According to the findings of this survey, the most important elements impacting customer attitudes about online buying in Jordan are trust, cultural hurdles such as uncertainty avoidance and a lack of understanding, security, perceived ease-of-use, and perceived utility. It was also discovered that Hofstede's cultural dimensions’ theory and the technology acceptance model (TAM) can help online businesses identify what factors drive online shopping adoption in Jordan. This study discovered, through a review of available literature, that the online shopping sector in Jordan is currently undeveloped, necessitating more effective growth techniques. Finally, the outcomes of this study provide online merchants with insight into what has to be prioritized in order to entice Jordanian customers to make online purchases. From the findings of this investigation, three areas of inquiry were uncovered for further study. Findings from this study also include suggestions for online retailers and policymakers looking to boost Jordanians' comfort level with making purchases over the Internet. The findings of this study will be invaluable to international online retailers that are considering entering the Jordanian market. They will reveal not only the most important aspects affecting consumers' perceptions of online shopping in Jordan, but also the level of maturity of this sector.

This study aims to investigate the moderating effect of enterprise risk management on the relationship between the board of directors’ effectiveness on accounting and market performance in Jordan. The current study uses panel data of 684 firm-year observations, employed regression analysis and analysis of annual reports of 76 listed companies on the Amman stock exchange (ASE) from 2009 to 2017 covering 9 years. The findings of the hierarchical regression analysis showed that the enterprise risk management has a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between the board of directors’ effectiveness on accounting and market performance in Jordan. The findings reveal that enterprise risk management positively moderated the relationship between board of directors’ effectiveness on Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Tobin’s Q. It also moderated the interaction of board of directors’ effectiveness intercept enterprise risk management on Return on Assets and Return on Equity, which were found positive and significant. The findings of this paper can provide crucial conclusions and recommendations that clarify the relationship between the board of directors’ effectiveness and the accounting and market performance in Jordan and the moderate impact of the enterprise risk management.
