The research aims to investigate how strategic entrepreneurship through innovative effectiveness is used to create value within firms. Using structural equation modeling, data from 55 private hospitals in Jordan were gathered. For this research, 230 directors, managers, and department heads were enlisted. An entrepreneurial mindset was found to have a significant and positive correlation with innovative effectiveness while having a business alignment also had a positive and significant correlation with innovative effectiveness. However, innovative effectiveness had a positive but insignificant correlation with the creation of firm value. The research concluded that strategic entrepreneurship had a positive effect on the creation of firm value.

The study delves into how governance, environmental unpredictability and strategic management intersect, with agency theory offering a framework to comprehend this connection. It is evident how the structure of governance can influence the actions of managers and the results of organizations, amidst evolving conditions. Descriptive analytical approaches were used, and utilized an electronic questionnaire, as the main tool for gathering data. It involved 254 individuals randomly selected from Information and Communication Technology companies in Amman, Jordan including both managers and non-managers. Various statistical techniques, such as inferential methods using SPSS version 26 for Windows were employed to explore research questions and test hypotheses. The study discovered that the perceived uncertainty in the environment plays a role in influencing how corporate governance affects strategy implementation, in information technology firms. The findings suggest. Studying the environment to better grasp and respond to uncertainties. Additionally, it is advised to tailor governance practices and strategies to manage risks and obstacles resulting from shifts.

This research investigated how digital transformation affects the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and organizational performance among private banks in Baghdad, Iraq. The study population consisted of 5,000 individuals holding various positions, including general manager, deputy general manager, department head, section head, and employee. To obtain a representative sample, the researchers employed the stratified equal random sampling method and randomly selected participants. As a result, a total of 406 questionnaires were distributed. However, only 197 questionnaires were valid and suitable for analysis, representing a percentage of 49% of the distributed questionnaires. The primary means of gathering information was through a questionnaire, and the data obtained were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques. The research findings indicated that the different aspects of entrepreneurial orientation, such as being proactive, taking risks, and flexibility, had a significant and beneficial influence on the organization's overall performance and its ability to operate effectively and engage socially. Nonetheless, the innovation aspect did not have a notable impact on the performance of the organization and its related dimensions. In addition, the research indicated that digitalization has a beneficial impact on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of an organization, making it more powerful. The research suggested that private banks operating in Baghdad province ought to promote innovation, foster productive social interactions, enhance their operational efficiency, facilitate digital transformation, and leverage their moderating influence to improve the performance of the organization by boosting entrepreneurial orientation.

The study of entrepreneurship continues to expand as a field of inquiry and remains one of the most attractive realms of research in the field of management science. This study follows an evidence-based research approach and conducts a systematic review and meta-analysis on the entrepreneurship, management, and sustainable development in entrepreneurial firms working in the Middle East. The study has conducted a bibliometric search for outlining the systematic and empirical evidence on entrepreneurship, management, and sustainable development, and to examine the relevant literature from the particular domain, followed by PRISMA guidelines. Total of 25 articles were extracted dated from 2006 to 2020. One of the potential aspects regarding entrepreneurship, management, and sustainable development in the region was the introduction of entrepreneurial led family businesses that unlock the potential of the region. The rapid urbanization and population growth in the Middle East have put massive pressures on their environments. Entrepreneurship had a significant and positive impact on both sustainable development and management. Influenced by the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Middle Eastern countries showed a dynamic performance at a macro level. This systematic review and meta-analysis provide information on the current state of the empirical entrepreneurship, management, and sustainable development literature.

The importance of entrepreneurial competencies and information technology capabilities has increased in the last few decades because of the strategic role played by the entrepreneurs. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneur competency and information technology capability on business success. A survey questionnaire was conducted to test the influence of entrepreneur competency and information technology capability. This questionnaire was filled by 403 participants who were recruited through Jordan Chamber of Commerce so as to identify the business owners who had started their companies in the recent years. The findings of the study showed that entrepreneurial competencies have a positive effect on business success and information technology which was used as a mediating role has a positive impact on both entrepreneurial competencies and business success. The findings of this research will be helpful to entrepreneurs and policy makers.

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of Big Data on strategic foresight in the presence of open innovation as a (mediating variable) in the companies of the therapeutic industry and the medical supplies sector in Amman the capital city of Jordan. Out of the (121) companies making up the total of such companies, the study focused on (18) industrial companies that had more than (100) employees in total, however only (11) of those have consented to take part in the study. The study population consisted of (271) employees occupying different jobs (general manager, deputy general manager, unit manager, department manager). Due to the limited size of the population, the entire number of employees were included as participants using the comprehensive survey technique, and the number of returned and validated questionnaires for analysis were (259), representing (95.5%) of the total. In order to determine the study problem, pilot structured interviews were used in a sample of the mentioned companies. The questionnaire was employed as the key tool to measure the study variables through data collection, and the descriptive and inferential statistics methods were used to analyze the collected data, through calculations of the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test and half-segmentation, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and the structured equation model using SMART PLS3 for hypothesis testing. The study culminated in several results, the most important of which was evidence that open innovation played a partial mediating role in the relationship between big data and strategic foresight in the companies of the therapeutic industries and medical supplies sector. Accordingly, a set of recommendations were put forward, the most important of which is to increase investment in big data in the companies due to its importance in foreseeing the future. As well as applying open innovation practices and strengthening strategic foresight practices due to its important role in avoiding extensive losses and seizing new opportunities. Highlighting the need to pay attention to open innovation practices that generate ideas and help to have strategic foresight.
